This weekend saw our first double outing at Altrincham Market, and we were lucky enough to enjoy the space of a double stall on Saturday, which came in very handy considering that we had brought the kitchen sink!

Rain, rain, go away
Noticed a definite change in the weather this past Saturday at Altrincham Market, with the unwelcome rain and chilly wind.
Giant coconut & cherry macaroons proved a big hit, with one early customer even seen munching one for a very sweet breakfast! With no macarons this week, there was greatly reduced confusion about which is which. We’re back next weekend with both…. I’ve planned the explanation already!
Here…There…Somewhere
Double duty this past weekend – Saturday at West Kirby Farmers’ Market, and Sunday at the first Wilmslow & Alderley Edge Food and Drink Festival.
We also introduced our new “Valencia” patisserie, available for the first time at West Kirby Farmers’ Market – Dark chocolate mousse, orange jam, toasted almond creme brûlée on a Breton shortbread. From the comments on the day and afterwards, they were certainly a hit and will have to return again very soon!
Macaron? Macaroon?
Another fun weekend at Altrincham Market, and our first Saturday trading at the market.
We arrived armed with new flavours of mallows and three very different tarts (see below) – Chocolate & Salted caramel, Raspberry & Pistachio Breton, and Lemon meringue. I think the lemon meringue was our most popular.
Better get cracking…eggs
A quick thank you to everyone who came out and saw us at Altrincham Market. With the opening of the renovated market hall, the main market will be expanding to cover the whole weekend. This means you can catch us in Altrincham again on Saturday 20th September.
All new newness
There’s lots going on for us this week, with a new market at Levenshulme on Saturday and back to Altrincham on Sunday for our first market following the opening of the refurbished market hall.
We’ve also been working on the development of new products and packaging, including new mallow flavours and a chocolate version of our ever popular salted caramels, made with rich 70% Valrhona chocolate. You can grab a bag at either of our upcoming markets, along with our usual range of confectionery and fresh patisserie, but you’ll have to wait a while to see our new packaging…. we’re still waiting for the labels to arrive!
West Kirby Weekend
It was lovely to be back at West Kirby Farmers’ Market this weekend with all of our new flavours of confections and patisserie.
The mallows proved to be a hit, with Praline & Chocolate being the most popular – we’ll have to bring even more with us next time!
You can see us making the Mocha flavour in the photograph to the right, with the dark chocolate being swirled through the rich coffee mallow. Continue reading West Kirby Weekend
Wind and rain – normal British weather has resumed
Enjoyed a refreshingly cool (and a little damp) day yesterday at Altrincham Market, especially with the new additions of our macarons, macaroons and marshmallows!

Altrincham Market
We will be back for our second outing at Altrincham Market this Sunday (10/08/14). If you’re not a regular at Alty market, pop down for something different. The weather forecast is a bit grim but don’t worry as it’s all under cover in the market hall and there will be live music to keep you entertained while you hide from the British “summer”.
Castlefield Artisan Market
We are looking forward to our second outing at Castlefield Artisan Market this coming Sunday (03/08/14). July’s market ran on the same day as the Wimbledon final, so if you were kept in by the tennis and missed us last time around now’s your chance to come and check out our ever changing line up of patisserie and confectionery.
This month… there will be choux!
