Who ate all the pies?

This poor blog must be feeling pretty neglected. We’ve been too busy making mince pies… lots and lots of mince pies. Our mince pies have been overwhelmingly popular over the past few weeks leading up to Christmas, and as the big day is nearly upon us, it’s your last chance to get hold of some before we go on holiday. You can still order them for collection from our home kitchen, West Kirby Farmers’ Market on the 21st, or Wards Fish in Birkenhead market. You can also find them on the menu at the Irby Mill pub, where you might find us having a festive drink after making them all.

We are hoping for some warmer weather in West Kirby this Saturday as we will be on an outside stall at our last market event of the year. We’ll have a few Christmas goodies for those last minute gifts, and our mince pie cheesecake is back by popular demand. Since we like to mix it up, we are also planning a couple of new seasonal specialities which we will be revealing over the next couple of days. You also still have a day or two to order from our Christmas menu, after which there will be limited availability on most items.

Merry Christmas!
